Summary

Description
English: This mosque, very near the Covered Bazar, has the tallest minaret (47 meters) in Kayseri and was built – in Selcuk style - in the period of the Danişmend during the reign of Melik Muhammed Gazi (1134-1143), his mausoleum is along the south wall of the building. Right next to it there was the Melik Gazi Medrese, that has not made it till our days. The whole has seen a lot of restoration, as it suffered a lot in an earthquake in the 1720-30's Tulip Period.
