Nederlands: Filmcollectie SALHA, nr. 159. Elf jarig Keesje de Ruyter het biljartwonder, 21-10-1937, en Biljarter Keesje de Ruyter oefent voor zijn tournee naar de Verenigde Staten, 1939. Kees de Ruyter, ook wel Keesje de Ruyter, (Waalwijk, 1925 - 10 februari 1983) is een voormalig Nederlandse biljarter. Hij was erg succesvol in de disciplines Cadre 47/2 en in het Libre. Hij werd tweemaal Europees kampioen en 31 maal Nederlands kampioen. Hij gaf op 11-jarige leeftijd staand op een kratje biljartdemonstraties in het café "Drik de Ruijter" van zijn ouders op de Markt in Waalwijk. Eind jaren dertig verbood de kantonrechter hem dit omdat hij toen nog te jong was. Pas op 14 jarige leeftijd mocht hij deze activiteiten uitvoeren. Tweemaal, in 1937 en 1939, werd hij door Polygoonfilm gefilmd. Maker: Polygoon-Profilti (producent). Kees de Ruyter, also known as Keesje de Ruyter, (Waalwijk, 1925 - February 10, 1983) is a former Dutch billiard player. He was very successful in the Cadre 47/2 disciplines and in the Libre. He was twice European champion and 31 times Dutch champion. At the age of 11 he gave a crate of billiard demonstrations in the café "Drik de Ruijter" of his parents on the Markt in Waalwijk. In the late 1930s, the subdistrict court judge forbade him because he was still too young at the time. He was only allowed to perform these activities at the age of 14. Twice, in 1937 and 1939, he was filmed by Polygoonfilm. Maker: Polygoon-Profilti (producer). Er war in den Disziplinen Cadre 47/2 und Libre sehr erfolgreich. Er war zweimal Europameister und 31 mal niederländischer Meister. Im Alter von 11 Jahren gab er im Café "Drik de Ruijter" seiner Eltern auf dem Markt in Waalwijk eine Kiste mit Billarddemonstrationen. In den späten 1930er Jahren verbot ihn der Richter des Amtsgerichts, weil er zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch zu jung war. Diese Tätigkeiten durfte er erst mit 14 Jahren ausüben.
