English: Kent Dunlap, right, the Tulsa district chief of natural resources explains to onlookers about the Supersaturated Dissolved Oxygen System and how it will benefit the fishery below Lake Tenkiller Dam, Okla., June 19, 2013. The Supersaturated Dissolved Oxygen System will help the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation pump supersaturated dissolved oxygen directly into an isolated pool below Tenkiller Dam in times of critically low oxygen levels. This procedure will allow for smaller and better releases of donated water so that there will be higher dissolved oxygen levels, lower water temperatures and more water available downstream for the fish. |
