English: kenting South Bay is one of the most prestigious beaches in Kenting National Park, with azure clear water and soft and detailed beaches. In recent years, due to over-harvesting of algae-eating animals such as sea urchins and parrotfish,and a large number of tourists from the land let nutrients flow into, causing coral reefs to be affected by the massive growth and cover of algae, the marine ecological species in the intertidal zone are also declining. Perhaps many people do not know that the diversity of corals in Taiwan is at the same level as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Coral reefs are formed by corals as the main body, and corals are living animals, many coral insects gather together and secrete marble-like skeletons, which are connected to each other and merge into a huge reef body, so a healthy coral reef will grow up. The area of coral reefs is very rare, accounting for less than 1% of the ocean, and the distribution is very limited, so it needs special protection. Despite the efforts of the relevant units, the water quality of the South Bay waters is of superior quality, but the coral reefs covered with seaweed may no longer be beautiful. when algae appear in large numbers and settle down , and have an impact and threat to the local ecological environment.
