Summary edit

Description
English: Kentish Town station This station acquired a new importance when the cross-river Thameslink services began in 1986. The two platforms on the left are used for local stopping trains from (mainly) St Albans City to the Sutton/Wimbledon loop. The two on the right are for fast Thameslink services, mostly from Bedford to Brighton or Gatwick Airport, which do not stop here. There are two more tracks without platforms on the far right, used for express Midland Main Line services to Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield.
