Bahasa Indonesia: Di Kecamatan Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta terdapat satu seni pertunjukan yang sangat khas yaitu Sholawat Montro. Kesenian ini berisi sekelompok penampil dan pengiring musik yang semuanya laki-laki, mereka menyanyikan puji-pujian kepada Allah SWT dan Muhammad SAW dengan cara nembang, diiringi musik tradisional gamelan dan terbangan. sambil bernyanyi, terkadang penampil melakukan gerakan tari dengan beberapa perlengkapan pendukung seperti kipas, kuda lumping, bendera, dan sebagainya. Saat ini kesenian Sholawat Montro dilestarikan oleh generasi tua dan generasi muda yang sering mengadakan latihan bersama. |
