Description
English: Key House, Tewkesbury Key House at No. 9 the High Street in Tewkesbury and it takes its name from the large 19th century key hanging on the front. The building dates from the early 16th century, but it was heightened about a century later, around 1610. The building is distinctive due to its two nodding gables. Today the premises is the Halifax, though it used to be a traditional hardware shop called Miles and Carter.
