As opposed to rest of world and parts of india, where discussion on sex was understood taboo, Khajuraho depicts it as the rich art and tradition. More than 50 moves and poses to enjoy the most intimate moments with your partner have been sculptures at the stones.
Not only the fine sculpture and finishing but the style of architecture of these temples are exemplary and made of sand stones on the granite foundation. Requirement of precise joints to hold all the pieces together by gravity made the architecture and civil construction of these temples an example for modern day architectures and engineers. |
