Русский: 21 мая 1887 года по ходатайству Харьковского дворянского общества Александром Третьим городу и губернии был возвращён «екатерининский» герб, сохранивший, однако, обрамление нового герба — императорскую (а не обычную городскую) корону и дубовые листья с Андреевской лентой. Данный герб просуществовал до провозглашения Советской власти и использовался в архитектуре (в витражах, лепке, мозаике на фасадах зданий). |
