Description

"Silent Tribute: Members of the 1st Battalion, 4th Marines [1/4], 3d Marine Division, bow their heads in silent tribute to the American Marines and Vietnamese soldiers who gave their lives at Khe Sanh. The Memorial Service held yesterday at Khe Sanh was attended by Brigadier General Frank E. Garretson, assistant 3d Marine Division Commander, 2d Regiment, 1st Army of the Republic of Vietnam Division (official USMC photo by Private First Class E. E. Hildreth)."
