Description
English: This sample is from an exploratory drill core in a kimberlite pipe in northwestern Russia.

Sample description by a Russian diamond exploration geologist (I'm not 100% sure who it was):

Kimberlite xenotufobreccia (kimberlite xenotuff breccia), Olginskaya Pipe, Kepinskoye Field

The content of kimberlite material varies from the first percents up to 30-35%. It is represented by olivine of the first generation, autholiths (up to 15-20%) and fragments of kimberlites or irregular form. Lithoclasts reach 3 centimeters in size, among them there are microlite-bearing and microlite-free melilite kimberlites. Xenogenous material (up to 40%) is represented by quartz and fragments of argillites. Cement consists of aggregate of carbonate, saponite, and limonite. The content of diamond-satellite minerals is very low (as in all pipes of Kepinskaya Field). Chrome spinellid, pyrope, chrome-diopside, and picroilmenite were noted.

I've not yet seen a published age for this kimberlite pipe.

Geologic unit: Olginskaya Pipe, Kepinskoye Field (Kepinskoe Field; Kepinskaya Field), Arkhangelskaya Diamond Province

Locality: Olginskaya Pipe, north-northeast of the town of Arkhangelsk, Arkhangelsk Region, east of the White Sea, northwestern Russia
