Description
日本語: ja:キネシンの構造(キネシンのモーター領域の画像)。キネシン頭部のモーター領域のみ。頭部の二つの蛋白質部分でおおむね5nmの幅になる。実際は下方に長く伸び、全長80nm程度。下方に伸びた先が重鎖のC末端となる。軽鎖のN末端が上部左右のモーター領域から中央部に伸びているのも見える。なお、中央下方に伸びる重鎖のαへリックス構造とモーター領域をつなぐ部分をネックリンカーと呼ぶ。
  • ラット由来のキネシン。ホモ2量体。
  • ATP加水分解後の、まだADPが結合した状態にあたる。
  • X線結晶解析による。
  • 赤色 : ADP
  • 薄空色の球 : 水分子
  • 青色 : A鎖 軽鎖
  • 水色 : B鎖 重鎖
  • 緑色 : C鎖 軽鎖
  • 黄色 : D鎖 重鎖
