Description
The Asia was built at Norddeutsche Schiffsbau Gesellschaft in Kiel (yard no. 49) and delivered late 1872 or early 1873 to Det Asiatiske Dampskibsselskab of Copenhagen. In November 1873 she as sold on to Dampskibsselskabet Kjøbenhavn also of Copenhagen. During 1880 she was leased to the Thingvalla company of Copenhagen. Hit the Wyneck Rocks North of Cape Cornwall in August 1889 and sank.
