DescriptionKing Charles III addresses Scottish Parliament Sep 2022.jpg |
English: 'We give thanks, as a nation and as a Parliament, for Her Majesty, Queen of Scots, for her extraordinary life and work.'
Yesterday, in the presence of The King and The Queen Consort, the Presiding Officer, First Minister and party leaders paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen in the Chamber of the Scottish Parliament. His Majesty said: 'My mother felt, as I do, the greatest admiration for the Scottish people - for their magnificent achievements and their indomitable spirit. 'And it was the greatest comfort for her to know, in turn, the true affection in which she was held.' |
