Description
English: The entrance to King George V Playing Fields, Port Glasgow, Inverclyde. It is known locally as Parklea. Through the railway arch are 13 football pitches and a bowling green. The putting green and tennis courts were lost when the A8 was realigned to the north of the railway line in the early 1980s. The old A8 is in the foreground.

See the gate piers here 631195 and 631197.

The factory unit in the background is on the site of the former allotment gardens and waste dump.
