Summary edit

Description

This is Kings Heath Library on High Street in Kings Heath. This is the section built in 1905.

It was paid for by Scottish philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.

It opened in 1906, and celebrated 100 years in 2005.

I didn't cross the road for the library so this is a zoom in from the other side of the road.

It kind of looks gothic with those columns.

The council in 1905 was Kings Norton & Northfield Urban District Council (became part of Birmingham in 1911).
