Deutsch: St.Martin Kirche in Gamburg. Die heutige Pfarrkirche wurde von 1895 bis 1898 südlich der alten, kleineren Kirche im neugotischen Stil erbaut. Der Gamburger Bildhauer Thomas Buscher (1860 bis 1937) hat die Kirche in seiner Erstlingsarbeit mit dem Hochaltar, den beiden Seitenaltären, der Kommunionbank, der Kanzel, zwei Beichtstühlen und diversen Figuren ausgestattet. Beim Abriss der alten Kirche wurde eine Madonna gefunden, die von großer Bedeutung für unsere Kirche ist. Diese Madonna integrierte Buscher in den Marienaltar mit sechs Engeln aus seiner Werkstatt und ergänzte die Seitenflügel mit biblischen Darstellungen in überwältigender Schönheit.Besonders sehenswert ist auch der Josefsaltar mit der Darstellung des Todes Josefs mit Maria und Jesus.Der Hochaltar ist streng gegliedert. Er zeigt die Statuen verschiedener Heiliger in dafür geschaffenen Nischen, umsäumt von gotischem Schnitzwerk.
Die letzte Kirchenrenovierung fand 1996 statt. |
