Dansk: En af 16 udskårne af fyrretræ kirkestole fra Kirkebø, Færøerne. Denne er 137 cm. høje og 41,5 cm. bred samt 4,2 cm. tyk. På stolegavlen her en stående og kronet Madonne med Kristusbarnet i den ene arm og en gren (palmegren?) i den anden hånd. Derover et våbenskjold, der ligger over to korslagte bispestave og øverst en mitras. Selve våbenskjoldet er udskåret med hjortegevir på en pyramide af kugler. Datering: 1406-1442. Norge. |
