English: Kit Hill viewpoint. At 333m above sea level, Kit Hill commands spectacular views in all directions. (When it's not in cloud). This is the view south southeast picking up the tidal River Tamar and following it to the Tamar bridges, centre and around the Hamoaze and the Devonport tower blocks into Plymouth Sound. The Mew Stone, off Wembury point is on the left horizon. Plymouth is about 20km distant. |
