Deutsch: "Arka" ("Der Bogen") - Klaipėda - Das Denkmal wurde im Jahre 2003 anlässlich des 85. Jahrestages des Tilsit-Aktes und des 80. Jahrestages der Vereinigung Litauens mit dem Memelgebiet gebaut. Die kleine Säule aus rotem Granit symbolisiert Kleinlitauen, die quadratische graue Granitsäule Großlitauen. Die Abbruchkante oberhalb der roten Säule symbolisiert das Königsberger Gebiet (heutiges Gebiet um Kaliningrad), das jetzt zu Russland gehört. Am oberen Teil des Denkmals ist ein Spruch der Schriftstellerin Ieva Simonaitytė gemeißelt: „Wir sind ein Volk, ein Land, ein Litauen".
Čeština: Památník "Arka" ("Oblouk") byl postaven (architekt: Arūnas Sakalauskas) v Klaipėdě, několik metrů od mostu "Biržos tiltas" v roce 2003 k příležitosti těchto výročí: 80 let od Klaipėdského povstání 15. 1. 1923, jehož výsledkem bylo připojení Klaipėdského kraje (Memelland náležel Východnímu Prusku, Německu, v době povstání francouzský protektorát) k Litvě; a 85. výročí Tilžėnskéko aktu. Památník "Arka" váží 150 tun a je vysoký 8,5 m. Menší kolona z rudé žuly symbolizuje Malou Litvu a její kulturní dědictví, zbytek ze šedé žuly - "Velkou" Litvu. Jakoby odlomená část z vrchní části symbolizuje část Malé Litvy v Kaliningradské oblasti Ruska + ještě menší území na východě dnešního Polska. Nahoře jsou vytesána slova Ievy Simonaitytė: „Esame viena tauta, viena žemė, viena Lietuva“ (Jsme jeden národ, jedna země, jedna Litva).
Lietuvių: „Arka“„Arkos“ paminklas pastatytas Klaipėdoje 2003 m., minint Tilžės akto 85-ąsias ir Klaipėdos krašto susijungimo su Lietuva 80-ąsias metines. Paminklas sveria 150 tonų ir yra 8,5 metro aukščio. Mažoji kolona iš raudonojo granito simbolizuoja Mažąją Lietuvą ir jos kultūrinį paveldą, o pilkoji – Didžiąją Lietuvą. Viršutinė tartum nuskelta paminklo dalis vaizduoja Karaliaučiaus sritį (Kaliningradą), dabar priklausančią Rusijai. Ant paminklo iškalti Ievos Simonaitytės žodžiai: „Esame viena tauta, viena žemė, viena Lietuva“. Skulptūros autorius Arūnas Sakalauskas. |
