  • Kleine Rassenkunde des deutschen Volkes von Dr. Hans F R Günther J F Lehmanns Verlag München
"Short Ethnology/Racial Science of the German People" by Hans F. K. Günther (1891 – 1968), a German writer, an advocate of scientific racism and a eugenicist in the Weimar Republic and the Third Reich, published by Julius Friedrich Lehmann in Munich, Germany 1928.
Günther's Kleine Rassenkunde des deutschen Volkes, with photos and maps, was a popular exposition of Nordicism, an ideology of racism and white supremacy which views the "Nordic race" as an endangered and superior racial group. In his book he categorized Germans as belonging to the Nordic, Mediterranean, Dinaric, Alpine and East Baltic races, and argued for Germans to avoid race mixing. Opposed to the Nordics were the Jews, who were "a thing of ferment and disturbance, a wedge driven by Asia into the European structure." Günther argued that the Nordic peoples should unite to secure their dominance.
