Deutsch: Ansichtskarte von Knackstedt & Näther aus der "Serie 98", Nummer 13: Blick auf die Markthalle in Hannover, gesehen von der Leinstraße in Richtung Leineschloss; vor der durch die Firma Lous Eilers hergestellten Stahlkonstruktion der Markthalle herrscht dichtes Gedränge. Die Marktfrauen verkaufen teils direkt aus den auf dem Bürgersteig aufgestellten Körben. Während der Fotograf aufmerksam von den Kindern auf der vorderen Pferdekutsche beobachtet wird, quert in der ehemaligen Grupenstraße (heute: Karmarschstraße) eine Straßenbahn. Das Eckgebäude in der Bildmitte hat die Luftangriffe auf Hannover relativ unbeschadet überstanden, zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme wurden dort von dem "Hansa-Tapetenhaus" "Linoleum, Tapeten und Wachstuch angeboten. Anstelle der heutigen (Stand: Juni 2012) Eckkneipe "Klickmühle" wurde seinerzeit Chocolade feilgeboten ... |
