Description

(1 in a multiple picture album) Most of the visitors to Zion National Park miss this section of the park. That is because it is about an hour's drive north of the main canyon. If you go to Zion, allow time to drive to Kolob Canyon. In some ways it is the most beautiful part of the park, and it is NOT crowded. I had a beautiful sky this day to make a backdrop to the red rock formations.

Note the park road in the lower right corner. They crush the native red rock in the mix so that the roads almost looks like a natural part of the canyon.
