| Description | On Sunday, April 1 2012, a cold front brought a little more snow to the Kolob Terrace Road in the high country of the park. As of April 1, 2012, the road was open and passable for high clearance 2WD vehicles to the Kolob Reservoir. Patches of snow were present on the road past the Lava Point turn off. High clearance 4WD and/or chains are still required for the gravel road to Lava Point. NPS Photo/Sarah Stio |
