English: Komanda, Ituri, RDC : Pour traquer les rebelles ougandais des ADF qui fuient le Nord-Kivu pour l’Ituri voisine où ils commettent des atrocités contre les civils, la MONUSCO déploie des casques bleus sud-africains de sa Brigade d’Intervention Rapide (FIB) actuellement basés à Beni. « La MONUSCO va aussi réhabiliter la route Eringeti-Kayinama-Tchabi ; car les ADF profitent du mauvais état des voies de communication qui ne favorisent pas les mouvements des véhicules de combat, pour s’attaquer aux populations civiles », a déclaré le Chef de Bureau de la MONUSCO en Ituri, Josiah Obat à l’occasion de sa visite le jeudi 13 août à Komanda. Français : Komanda, Ituri, DRC: To track down Ugandan ADF rebels fleeing North-Kivu for refuge in neighboring Ituri where they have been committing atrocities against civilian populations, MONUSCO is deploying South-African peacekeepers from its Rapid Intervention Brigade (FIB) currently based in Beni. “MONUSCO will also rehabilitate the Eringeti-Kayinama-Tchabi road, as ADF are taking advantage of the poor state of the transportation routes, to attack the civilian populations ”, said the Head of MONUSCO Office in Ituri, Josiah Obat on the occasion of his visit to Komanda on Thursday, August 13.
