Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr Jenő Komjáthy (1858–1895) Hungarian poet and teacher. It was affixed to the wall of the Árpád Kiss primary school where he taught and unveiled November 30, 1925. The stone relief is sculpted by Mr Hugó Keviczky. Quote: "I am the light but I lived in darkness, / Hidden away from the wide world: / In the distant unknown / I burned in solitude." (Balassagyarmat, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street Nr 7)
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. Jenő Komjáthy (1858–1895) poète et professeur hongrois. Elle a été apposée au mur de l ‘école primaire Árpád Kiss où il enseignait et dévoilée le 30 novembre 1925. Le relief de pierre est sculpté par M. Hugó Keviczky. Citation : « Moi qui suis la lumière je vivais dans l'obscurité, / Caché loin du vaste monde: / Dans le lointain inconnu / Je brûlais en solitude. » (7, rue Bajcsy-Zsilinszky, Balassagyarmat)
Magyar: Komjáthy Jenő (1858–1895) magyar költő emléktáblája a Kiss Árpád általános iskola falán, ahol tanított. A faragott kő emléktáblát Keviczky Hugó készítette. Felavatva: 1925. november 30-án.
