editDescriptionKopf-Fragment.jpg | Das Bild zeigt die Skulptur eines Kopf-Fragments unweit des Haupteingangs der Stadtbibliothek Neuss. Bei der Skulptur handelt es sich um das erste öffentliche Exponat des Bildhauers Robert Beerscht, das in den Jahren 1985/86 kreiert und schließlich ausgestellt wurde. Die hier sichtbare rechte Hälfte ist leicht ausgehöhlt und soll die geistige Innenwelt des Menschen, seine Rolle als Betrachter und seine Fähigkeit zur Selbstreflexion darstellen, wohingegend die hervorragende linke Seite den Menschen als von außen wahrnehmbares Subjekt aber auch in seiner Position als Handelnden symbolisiert. |
