| Description |
Српски / srpski: Kotor, crkva franjevačkog manastira. 1288. godine je podignut kompleks Samostana Sv. Franja u Kotoru (sa srednjovjekovnim grobljem). Crkva Sv. Franja podignuta je od strane kraljice Jelene (Anžujske) udovice kralja Srbije, Uroša I Nemanjića. Sačuvano je 137 srednjovjekovnih grobnica, a po istorijskim podacima značajni su natpisi na grobnim plocama.
Od 1288. do 1657. Franjevcisu bili nastanjeni u samostanu, van gradskih zidina Kotora, uz riječicu Gurdić. Samostan je iz straha od Turaka srušen od strane Venecije, a fratri su uvedeni u grad.
