Nederlands: De Kouterkapel, aan de Kouterstraat in Zele, werd in 1645 opgetrokken ter vervanging van een vorige kapel uit 1556. De kapel, toegewijd aan Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Zeven Weeën, deed dienst als devotie- en bedevaartoord tegen de pest. Architecturaal is het een vrij eenvoudige kapel, met een fronton, een portiek, een nis en een achthoekig torentje. Het weelderige interieur bezit onder meer een altaarensemble uit 1656 van Jacques Couplet, een houten altaarbeeld van de Moeder van Smarten en een fraaie barok doksaal van Jan Ykens (1657). Het Bremser-orgel dateert uit 1665. De kapel is sinds 1960 beschermd als monument. In 1980 werd de kapel gerenoveerd.
