In this image is a sculpture on the side of the Upper castle in Kranichfeld, Thuringia. Built in the 12th century, it was expanded in 1453. The figure in this image is popularly known as the "Leckarsch".

English: In this image is a sculpture on the side of the Upper castle in Kranichfeld, Thuringia. Built in the 12th century in a romanesque style. In 1453 it was expanded in a renaissance style.

The figure in this image is popularly known as the "Leckarsch".[1][2]

Translated into english as the "lick ass".

The sculpture is dated to around 1530.[1]
