A plaque is attached to an erratic block with the inscription: "Im Weltkriege 1914/18 starben den Heldentod für das Vaterland.". Below it follows a list of names of persons with the dates of birth and death.
Deutsch: Kriegerdenkmal vor der Dorfkirche in Ahrensfelde, Kreis Barnim, Brandenburg. Auf einem Findling ist eine Tafel befestigt mit der Aufschrift: "Im Weltkriege 1914/18 starben den Heldentod für das Vaterland." Darunter folgt dann eine Aufzählung von Peronsennamen mit dem Geburts- und Sterbedatum.
