Kristus på korset framställs mot ett mörkt landskap med ett ljusare moln till vänster om korset. Till höger anas en blixt mot himlen. Den samtida ramen är av ek med förgyllning på bolusgrund, samt har skuren dekor med två kerubhuvuden i moln samt detaljer i form av sädesax och vindruvor.

Kommentar: Enligt konservator bär målningen spår av att ha varit ommonterad minst två gånger; den nuvarande kilramen är sekundär.
