Description
English: Stone cross dating from the earliest Christian period in Norway (about the year 1000) on the small Krosshaugen about 75m south of the National Monument at Haraldshaugen in Haugesund. The place has functioned as a Parliament site in the Viking and Medieval Ages. Photo taken on a sunny summer morning June 6th, 2020.
Norsk bokmål: Steinkors fra den første kristne tida i Norge, det vil si fra rundt år 1000, reist på Krosshaugen omkring 75 meter sør for riksmonumentet Haraldshaugen i Haugesund. Stedet har vært tingplass. Bildet viser også Haraldsstøtta landskapet rundt. Foto tatt en solfylt sommermorgen med blå himmel, sommerblomster og grønn vegetasjon 6. juni 2020.
