Description
Deutsch: Ruine der Taufkapelle St. Johannes auf der Krukenburg (Krukenbergkirche) bei Helmarshausen, Stadt Bad Karlshafen, Nordhessen. Erbaut um 1100 nach kleinasiatischen Vorbildern, die 1033 von Abt Vico von Helmarshausen für Bischof Meinwerk gezeichnet wurden, geweiht 1126 durch Bischof Heinrich II. von Paderborn. Die Kirche bildete den Ursprung der Krukenburg, die zum Schutz um die Kirche herum errichtet wurde
