It is a historical place where father and son i.e. son Gautam Buddha and father Shuddhodhan meet. This is the place where Gautam Buddha came to his hometown Kapilvastu for the first time in seven years after attaining enlightenment. This place is considered as a very sacred place. In this Kudan, Shakya king Shuddhodhan donated a magnificent Bihar to Lord Buddha and the monks' association under the auspices of Nigrodha Shakya.
