Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. György Kulin (1905–1989) Hungarian astronomer, founder of the amateur astronomy movement in Hungary. It was affixed to the wall of the Polaris Observatory in Óbuda and unveiled on January 28, 2015 on the occasion of the astronomer's 110th birthday. The author of the plaque as well as the bronze relief is Mr. Géza Marton medalist and sundial maker. (Budapest, District III, Laborc Street Nr 2/c)
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. György Kulin (1905–1989) astronome hongrois, fondateur du mouvement de l'astronomie amateur en Hongrie. Elle a été apposé au mur de l’Observatoire Polaris à Óbuda et dévoilée le 28 janvier 2015 à l’occasion de 110e anniversaire de l’astronome. L’auteur de la plaque ainsi que du relief en bronze est M. Géza Marton médailliste et cadranier. (2ter rue laborc, Budapest 3e arr.)
Magyar: Kulin György (1905–1989) csillagász, a magyar amatőrcsillagász mozgalom megteremtőjének emléktáblája Óbudán, a Polaris Csillagvizsgáló falán. A márvány emléktábla, valamint a bronz dombormű Marton Géza ötvösművész, napórakészítő mester alkotása. Felavatva 2015. január 28-án, a csillagász születésének 110. évfordulója alkalmából. According to the article 67 Paragraph (3) the author’s name has to be indicated on a view if this is intended to present a specific fine art, architectural, applied art or industrial design creation or engineering structure. The author’s name has likewise to be indicated if such creations are used for presentation in scientific and educational lectures as well as for school education purposes (Article 33, Paragraph (4)).
