English: Tästä maisemasta sanaili Samuli Paulaharju seuraavasti Rintakyliä ja Larvamaita teoksessaan "Kirkko vain seisoo ja valvoo suurta lakeuttansa, katsoo yli metsienkin. Ja aivan ääressä on vanha pappila, joki ja kivinen Kirkonsilta sekä takarannalla töyrän täysi Kurikoota. Ne katselevat sieltä toistensa korvalta ja takaa, ylitsekin kurkistelevat. Siellä on Rinta-Kurikkaa ja Larva-Kurikkaa, Oja-, Mäki-, Yli- ja Ala- ja vielä muuta Kurikkaa, niin että niitä on monta kirkonpenkillistä. Ja he ahertavat keskellä parasta pitäjää, ympärillä pienen Kurikanlaharen, takana kivisen Kirkonsillan. " |
