京都市上京区下立売通新町西入薮ノ内町の京都府庁旧本館。建築当時の姿を残す現役かつ最古の都道府県庁舎。1904年12月竣工。煉瓦造石造混合構造（一部地下室付き）、地上2階建て。設計は京都府技師の松室重光と一井九平、設計調査・工事監理は文部技師の久留正道。施工も京都府が自ら行った。明治中期の日本人建築家による本格的西洋建築の代表であり、以後の府県庁舎建築の範となる。1971年まで京都府庁本館であった。国重要文化財（2004年12月指定）、京都府指定有形文化財（1983年4月指定）。Adobe Photoshop CSで遠近法を調整した。
