Deutsch: Die obere Kapelle der Doppelkapelle aus dem Chorraum, sie war dem Kaiser und seiner Familie vorbehalten. Auffällig ist der Stilwechsel von der Romanik der unteren Kapelle St. Martin zur Gotik, obwohl die Kapelle praktisch in einem Stück gebaut wurde (bis 1189 Palas und St. Martin, doch schon von 1180 bis 1210 die obere Kapelle). Die Säulen, die allerdings auch deutlich weniger Masse tragen müssen, sind hier deutlich schlanker, sie bestehen aus Marmor. Die Fenster weisen noch keine gotischen Formen auf. |
