Description
Español: En la Hacienda Santa Teresa se encuentran los pioneros de este licor que desde el siglo XVIII experimentan con el alcohol, y allí, en esa zona de El Consejo en el Estado Aragua se combina turismo, recreación, gastronomía en un paseo por los saberes de los diversos tipos de ron que elabora la compañía Santa Teresa. Un recorrido en tren lleva al turista por las diferentes etapas de la elaboración para la mejor comprensión de su pureza. Los visitantes suben al tren que durante dos horas los lleva por diferentes lugares de la hacienda. La Cruz de Palmeras es el primer paso, luego la destilería y el taller de los maestros toneleros, para explicar la importancia de utilizar determinado tipo de madera, la forma de cortarla y pegar las tablillas para que contenga el líquido que permanecerá más o menos tiempo en ella.
