Notes

One of the frontispiece illustrations for Beraldi's catalogue of nineteenth-century printmakers made by contemporary artists. Fantin-Latour's contribution, lettered with the printer's name, is bound opposite the title-page for Volume VI, 1887. Published by Librairie L. Conquet. A copy of which is held in the British Museum Libraries Collection.

This design is not described in Beraldi's catalogue of Fantin-Latour's works.
