Description
Español: Un museo bogotano, cuya fachada asemeja un castillo, resguarda muchas antigüedades y tesoros históricos... Su salón principal adornado con una mujer tallada en mármol, cuyo nombre hace alusión a lo que es: mujer divina, hecha "POESÍA".

Obra de Marcos Tobón Mejía, una mujer desnuda al natural perfecta, encantadores senos, piernas talladas con precisa anatomía, adornada con la redondez de su ombligo, brazos elevados, y rostro al cielo, refleja sentimientos como lo hace la verdadera poesía.

La obra intentó ser un homenaje al poeta Asunción Silva en 1917, pero éste no fue posible, hoy la podemos admirar en el Museo Nacional de Colombia, tras ser donada en 1948, por la esposa de su creador, Francine Tobón.
