Le bâtiment de "la Pointe de la Douane" vu depuis le canal de la Giudecca Cette face du bâtiment est souvent cachée par les bateaux des milliardaires qui sont amarrés devant elle. La girouette, à l'entrée du Grand Canal, surmonte le beffroi de la Pointe de la Douane (Punta della Dogana) aménagée en centre d'art contemporain par la Fondation F. Pinault. Elle est constituée de deux atlantes de bronze supportant la "Palla d'Oro" que domine la statue de la Fortune, de Bernardo Falcone. L'ensemble a été restauré par la Fondation F. Pinault dans le cadre du plan d'aménagement de la Punta della Dogana.
