Français : La Seconde Armée britannique, le Jour « J ». En bas, au centre, la ville de Caen. En haut à droite, la plage de Sword Beach. Entre les deux, au niveau de Bénouville et traversant le fleuve Orne et le Canal de Caen à la mer, les ponts de Bénouville et de Ranville, plus tard renommés « Pegasus Bridge » et « Horsa Bridge ». Les flèches rouges indiquent les tentatives de contre-offensives allemandes.
