Sculpture de l'artiste João Charters de Almeida, faite en 1997, faite de granite blanc du Portugal. Don du Metropolitano de Lisboa à la Société de transport de Montréal (STM), qui l'a offerte à la Ville de Montréal pour souligner le 30e anniversaire du métro de Montréal et, par le fait même, de l'Expo 67. Cette sculpture est une réflexion sur le fait que l'Homme se crée des espaces mythiques, tant par nécessité que par défi.
