J'espère malgré tout que la statue est fermement arrimée à son socle, car la région peut se montrer très venteuse. Avec un ouvrage accusant ses 3 t sur la balance pour 6,5 m de haut, mieux vaut éviter de se la ramasser sur la tronche, ça pardonnerait pas...

Achevé en 1899, le monument est rénové pour la dernière fois en 2022.
