L'entrée de la pagode Tay An (Bouddhisme mahāyāna, Grand Véhicule)

La pagode Tay An (Chua Tay An) a été fondée en 1847, refaite en 1861, et reconstruite en 1958. Elle est située au pied du Mont Sam.

A l'image des multiples communautés habitant cette région, son architecture très colorée traduit des influences hindoues, vietnamiennes bouddhistes et islamistes.

Elle contient de nombreuses statuettes et statues, dont un grand nombre est en bois. On y trouve de nombreux Bouddhas, l'Empereur de Jade, les Arhats, les quatre Rois célestes, les gardiens du Dharma, des représentations de génies locaux.
