It comprises 72 color plates showcasing diverse plant motifs. Each of the 24 depicted plant species includes a botanical illustration, followed by two ornamental interpretations. The book was a collaborative effort of Grasset's students, which included notable illustrators such as Maurice Pillard Verneuil, Juliette Milesi, Emma Hervegh, and others.
  • Author: Eugène-Samuel Grasset (1845-1917), a Swiss decorative artist who worked in Paris, France in a variety of creative design fields during the Belle Époque. He is considered a pioneer in Art Nouveau design.
