Description

La voûte du grand escalier a été décorée entre 1563 et 1565 par Federico Zuccari, un jeune artiste romain

Les cadres en stuc sont inspirés de camées anciens de la collection Grimani.

Le Palazzo Grimani est situé Ramo Grimani dans le quartier du Castello, tout près de la place Santa Maria Formosa à la confluence des canaux de San Severo et de Santa Maria Formosa.

Le palais, bien que ne possédant plus de mobilier, permet de découvrir un très bel ensemble de salles encore ornées de leurs décors pour l’essentiel du XVIème siècle.
