English: Lai Chingthokpa Jagoi Khutthek - in Lai Haraoba classical dance & music ritualistic performances - It is a group of gestures (Khut-thek) of classical Meitei dance forms (Meitei Jagoi); In Meiteilon, alias Meitei or Meetei or Manipuri or Kanglei or Meithei language, the word "Khut-thek" (or Khutthek or Khuthek) means hand gesture. Here, "khut" means hand and "thek" means gestural movement in Meitei language. There are numerous khut-thek hand gestures, which are used in classical Meitei dance forms like those of Lai Haraoba (alias Umang Lai Harauba) of the traditional Meitei religion (Sanamahism) from the land of Kangleipak (today known as Manipur state).
